Updating WAMP

Could anyone provide a little light/help on this topic?

My first question, is that Apache has released up to 2.2.16, and I guess its just because the people at Wamp have coding to do that they aren't caught up.

So Wamp offers up to 2.2.14.

OK so I have it to where 2.2.14 and 2.2.11 show up in the Wamp server Apache list.

My 2.2.11 still works like it always has, when I activate it I can access webpages blah blah.

When I do my 2.2.14 I always get a Forbidden you cannot view pages on this server blah blah.

I already went to the httpd-vhosts and the httpd-ssl (and httpd.conf) and I even tried to overwrite the entire extra folder. I know I'm forgetting something, but without going through the entire apache installation process, does anyone know a quick answer or does anyone know what I am so foolishly missing? Thanks.

Although, any production Apache server should be running on Linux.
