All of the above mentioned are talented individuals. I don't think the votes should be limited to summer of '07 to now - that leaves out a lot of equally talented individuals (and means that Drakken doesn't qualify, seeing as how he hasn't had any releases since before I joined BWH). I would have to say that indulgence gets my vote.

If it weren't just 07-08, my vote would have to go to Doom-Gaze (AKA Intangir).

Speaking strictly from a consumer's perspective, I'd throw my vote in Zyn's corner.

It's hard to say who is a better programmer, I think. In my mind, the best programmer isn't the one that can make the most complex application, but rather the one that can debug his own pieces fastest so that you're not sitting on a single project for a month doing nothing.

However, KC's shown some really creative pieces, and I think that's better than re-releasing the same hack coded better than the other guy.

Zynastor is a people pleaser, he releases a standard set of hacks that people have gotten used to, with something new thrown in once and a while (usually discovered by zyzzy <3)

KC, and to a lesser extent, Zyzzy, come up with brand new ideas. Personally, i love KC's innovation, even though it usually means he doesn't convert his old hacks, because he doesn't seem to like to repeat himself.

frankly, i think this is an unfair category because too many people will simply vote for Zyn (no offence, but even though Oblivion is a great hack, it's not innovative; and KC really deserves this as a current programmer)

I agree with Degausser. Oblivion has been around for a long time and while it's a brilliantly comprised hack, it doesn't carry much uniqueness like some of the other work (namely Kc's) that we've seen around.

Don't get me wrong, I've seen first hand how skilled many of the game hackers on this website can be. It makes for a very difficult choice, but I'm content with my vote. You're all winners to me.

Thats my reason. KC's hacks may not be as fine tuned, or designed, but his ingenuity and creativeness far surpasses most public hacking designs.
