    Default Best in-game app ever

It's called "Playxpert." It can control Winamp or Itunes, it has a built in web-browser that uses "bookmarks" so it seems like it's based off of firefox. It overlays almost any game, and can go on any chat protocol.

It was working for all my games, but it didn't work in starcraft for some reason...everything else was fine, though.

There is no in-game support for x64 systems and Vista at the moment.
Sucks for me as a Vista x64 user. Double fail.

That's more on your part though. Vista? That's the only fail.

winamp and itunes have global shortcuts and also integrated resource changes for their controllers. Foobar requires SDK for that.

Actually, I'm wrong. Foobar supports global hotkeys. Just copy Winamps global controls from the CTRL + P menu in winamp and put them in foobar and those control programs should work for you. Works for my G15 at least.

you do realize you can set global hotkeys for winamp right thru its own interface without having to have any fancy overlays

i set mine to win-Z (prev) thru win-B (next) and all the ones in between

i actually use linux now though so those hotkeys are for xmms (very similar to winamp)

the program uses over 100mb of ram. its buggy as hell and if you use the instant messenger it interrupts your game play.. i was playing GTA online and my car was on fire. as i tried to exit my vehicle i got an IM and it diverted all key input to the IM and i died :(
