    MicroGear FTW!

I just found out what it does. You know how on scroll wheels it usually clicks ever time you spin it, well with the G9 you can turn it off so that there's no clicking. You just fling it and you can go through a 30 page or a large web page in a matter of seconds.

    same with the revolution.

Try clicking it with it turned off, it doesn't work. Theres actually something mechanical doing it that requires power. I've had the mouse for ever and just noticed the other week.

    Unless you already noticed.

I need my scroll wheel to click, at least when I am playing games, like cs, or other shooters. just my preference though.

There's a button on the bottom of the mouse, you can turn it on and off. 8)

I have a MX 518 as well, I was thinking about getting the G9, especially since it's only like 60-70 dollars now.
I bought my MX 518 for CoD4, so I could have side buttons to map my grenades to.

If for no other reason, it's for MicroGear and the JB thread. I can just flick my finger and scroll through all 50 posts, per page.

That alone is worth 100 bucks. No joke.

Try making it your fire button for FPS games. In some you can unload a clip from pistols faster than automatics, with that added accuracy.
A conclusion is a place you find yourself, when tired of thinking.

What mouse did you use before? I broke my MX518 (frustrating game of 2v2) and I'll probably replace it with something different. I don't like any of the Razer mice I've tried so I may get the G9, but I've been using MX mice for years and have gotten used to the ergonomics and weight. This one looks like it'd be a pretty significant change.

I got some random Logitech Optical, and an IBM Model M keyboard, which I'm very proud of. I'm thinking of also getting a Samsung DT-35 keyboard, though I can't find any place that sells em.
It's been a pretty long time since I've been here
