    How would I go about using a variable as an index # (I think that's what it's called) in an array?

    IE. int Array[counter]

    I read somewhere that arrays have to be predefined at the start of the program so it knows how much space to leave or something like that, and heard that a vector is the way to go, but if there's another way please do tell

    Code:
    int* array = new int[counter];
    (code here)
    delete [] array;

    Vectors are useful for storing a lot of information and then being able to quickly sort it.

    I'm done with site politics.
