    Need Compilers? Look here:
http://www.bloodshed.net/compilers/index.html (also lots of links, tutorials)

For people who want to start in C++ I recommend (if you can't afford a book, which should ALWAYS be your first choice):

    http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/index.html

It covers basically the beginnings of ANSI C++ programming, and ends with objects, templates, and preprocessor stuff.

Mainly newb tutorial, but still useful when learning from scratch

Recently just found a new ASM tutorial thats probably a bit more friendly on newcomers (of course, having learned C++ already though):

    http://www.gignews.com/hobbs2.htm

The tutorial assumes working knowledge of Windows API programming in C++, and teaches C++ --> ASM up to DirectDraw.
"That wasn't flirting. That was 'have a pleasant and restful evening.'"
"No, that was 'I like your ass. Can I wear it as a hat?'"

    Auto IT

One of the best scripting langs out there, neat for all botting desires :P

AutoIt is a freeware Windows automation language. It can be used to script most simple Windows-based tasks (great for PC rollouts or home automation).

AutoIt has been in popular use since 1999 and continues to provide users and administrators with an easy way to script the Windows GUI. In February 2004 the latest version of AutoIt - known as AutoIt v3 - was released and added powerful scripting features.

    1. AutoIt sucks nuts, big hairy ones. I used it for a few days trying to make a macro for FF XI and it made me want to shoot myself.

    2. Please do not double post in the future. This is your one and only warning.

I am being nice, I just voiced my opinion about how much AutoIt sucks. I'm not even going to get into how long it takes to check the color of a pixel.

ASM tutorial aimed at newb level. It is not like the rest, expecting you to have previous programming knowledge. The only thing it asks is that:
before you start, it's imperative you understand about Hexedecimal + binary.
is what the tutorial itself had. http://www.geocities.com/groovydbphp/assembler.htm
