Declaring is just what the word means....you declare a certain variable, function, etc. to acknowledge that it is there, right?

ya thats right... in the general part... (im using vb 2005 express xD)

and so far, all i got for the declares are:

Public Declare Function FindWindow Lib "user32" Alias "FindWindowA" (ByVal lpClassName As String, ByVal lpWindowName As String) As Long
Public Declare Function GetWindowThreadProcessId Lib "user32" (ByVal hwnd As Long, ByVal lpdwProcessId As Long) As Long
Public Declare Function OpenProcess Lib "kernel32" (ByVal dwDesiredAccess As Long, ByVal bInheritHandle As Long, ByVal dwProcessId As Long) As Long
Public Declare Function WriteProcessMemory Lib "kernel32" (ByVal hProcess As Long, ByVal lpBaseAddress As VariantType, ByVal lpBuffer As VariantType, ByVal nSize As Long, ByVal lpNumberOfBytesWritten As Long) As Long
Public Declare Function CloseHandle Lib "kernel32" (ByVal hObject As Long) As Long
Public Const PROCESS_ALL_ACCESS As Long = &H1F0FF
Public Declare Function GetAsyncKeyState Lib "user32.dll" (ByVal vKey As Long) As Integer

i copied these from the site, now i need the read memory process decleration...

or you can just type in google what are fuctions and declarations. it depends on what programming language are you talking about exactly. :)

You don't need all of those, only use ones you need (are using).

Plus for ReadProccessMemory use:

Public Declare Function ReadProcessMemory Lib "kernel32" (ByVal hProcess As Long, ByVal lpBaseAddress As Any, ByVal lpBuffer As Any, ByVal nSize As Long, lpNumberOfBytesWritten As Long) As Long

As far as what a declaration actually is, han_han's result would subdue.
