if i ever choose to learn a programming language, im probably gonna limit it to one of these two? can i get pros and cons? i think gamepin said masm is good because it lets you edit memory (or something like that).

C++ is supposedly good because its versatile and you can do tons of stuff with it.

mASM is great for hacking purposes or small programs, but for major applications you really need to use something higher-level, which is where C++ comes in.

Agreed.

I always liked masm's coding structure better than that of C++. So while I see what you're saying about using a high level language on bigger projects, I still might tend to use masm anyways. Just my 2 cents.

But, mASM has no help for alot of other things. Such as mIRC scripting, even advanced knowledge in mASM, or ASM will most likely not help much at all in mIRC scripting. At least for me.

C++ with inline ASM is better.

mIRC Scripting is extremely related to C++, so Im told. At least by code syntax's. I cant verify this, PHP is doing enough for me, I just do a ****load of of researching in Wikipedia.
