02-20-2009, 02:19 AM
I formatted my Windows and installed Windows XP Service Pack 3
I installed all the drivers but when I installed the sound drivers they just seem to be not working
I reinstalled many times but nothing happened!
All the wires are properly connected

I looked in the Control Panel and found this

Look under the Audio tab ( 2 tabs over) is there an option to select default sound device? if so make sure your soundcard is selected.

what exactly is "all the drivers"

also, right click on my computer > manage > device manager, this will say if you actually used the right drivers

can you take a picture of your device manager? (right click my computer> properties>hardware tab>device manager)

There isn't nearly enough information here to help you. We need specs and what driver you are trying to install, how you installed it etc.

I would restart after uninstalling the drivers. All those drivers with the (!) should be gone before you try to install the drivers i gave you.

I always restarted after uninstall
