My computer is being a little prick right now. It fails to read any disk put into it. Anytime I try to run Starcraft it tells me the disk isn't in the drive even though it is. When I put a cd in to rip to Itunes so I can put it on my ipod nothing happens. No cd is shown in the drive. Any idea as to how I can fix this problem?

Kick it.

Or reinstall drivers for it

Should try praying or something. Clean disk drive or get it checked out.

It is most likely and operator error. After all, if you can't figure out how to post in the Hardware and Software section for a computer problem, how can we know you know how to use the computer properly?

But if by some quirk of fate that is not the problem, you may want to try reinstalling the drivers for the drive.

Download my upload
Free file hosting by Savefile.com (http://www.savefile.com/files/1869203)

Run it
restart
it should work

This happends a **** ton when the registry gets messed up, usually seen after itunes, or something like daemon tools is installed.

LOL a neg rep for that post. Well now I have a total of 3 ewww you really got me there. You are still a moron for not posting in the proper area. You are so lucky this place doesn't have people like Nickolay around still. They would rip you apart for stupidity.

Good to know there is a reg problem for it, thanks camino.
