2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V8 AWD

Got an awesome deal on it, 77,777 miles on it for $3,900 FROM A DEALERSHIP! Black leather interior, dual power seats, dual climate control, working AC, all optioned out. The only thing wrong with it (so far) are the headlights are fogged (easy fix). This one is staying outta the woods unlike my other trucks, gonna keep this one looking nice. So far, according to the logger thing, its gettin about 17mpg around town and 21mpg highway, not bad for a 4.7L

Epic.

17mpg around town and 21mpg highway

Not so epic.

What other trucks did you have that you put in the trees?

The mpg is pretty decent for a 4.7L V8, actually.

As for my other trucks,

1980 Jeep J10, 4" of lift of 35" swampers:

1995 Jeep Cherokee XJ Sport, 3" of lift on 31" mud terrains

And my first Jeep, 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ, stock (this is one week into me having it)

And my Pathfinder, no lift on all terrains, had it for a day:

That's pretty nice. I don't like Jeeps myself, but you got a good deal.

I just got a 95 grand cherokee limited.
Only 107k miles.
Cost me 3999 from a dealership

Son of a bitch, you pwned me.
But I <3 mine.

So far the only problems I've come across on it is a bad ground for the radio (I believe), so I hear engine noise/feedback through the speakers, and I'm not sure if the AWD works, I'll have to put it on a lift on Monday and check. Even if it doesn't, that doesn't matter much to me, because I'd most likely convert it to selectable 4WD eventually anyway.

I'm thinking about lifting mine, but first I've got to fix a leak.
So far, it looks like it's the power steering, so I'm going to get some of that fluorescent **** that helps pinpoint leaks.

Awesome deal!!! Thats a great car! Jeeps are built like tanks, and that engine will run another 100k for you easy. And thats awesome gas mileage for an engine that size. I get less than that with a 4runners 3.4L V6 (granted I'm heavy footed).
As for lifting it, don't. Grand Cherokees look gay lifted. And you said it was staying out of the mud.

I like the way the ZJ's (older gen) looks lifted, but not WJ's (my gen)
