View Full Version : Know any good graphics forum?

I'd like to take a break from web development and dive into art. Can anyone suggest a decent graphics-oriented forum that is not too big, and not too small?

GFX FORUM - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=GFX+FORUM&btnG=Search)

I am trying the best I can to bring more life to this section though Rice Man, so stick around.

GFX FORUM - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=GFX+FORUM&btnG=Search)

The thing is, I don't want to take part in a community just because it has good SEO rankings. I'd much rather visit a forum that someone here has personally been to, and thought was good.

Have you checked out Game Renders?

Sorry but I had to come back and post in this.
Game Renders is a pile of ****.

Go to Tagmonkey (http://www.tagmonkey.otersi.com)
The website has experienced members in all ranges: from signature art, to photography, to painting, to illy, etc, etc.
They also support both small and larger art.
Have fun.

I am telling you for the last time that the only good graphics forum still around is tagmonkey.
You won't find the same harsh, but fair, crit you will get there. It takes time to warm up to the members but you won't find what they have anywhere else.
Also from tagmonkey you can learn about a majority of the private art communities that surround the web.
Anyway check it out, learn a few things, and have some fun.
