View Full Version : Ports Forwarded but still can't host.

This is really pissing me off.
I have forwarded my ports, allowed SC through my firewall, etc, etc.
I tried everything from asking some members on AIM and going to portforward but nothing seems to work.

Is your computer on a static DHCP? What router do you have and what service provider?

Perhaps windows firewall is blocking generic UDP broadcasts from your computer due a configuration bug. Please post more information relating to your equipment and services.

Press the reset button on your firewall/router.

They get jammed with **** for settings sometimes. Just a thought.

Yeah you need to make sure you've set up a static IP before you've port forwarded.

Sometimes it just hates on you and doesn't work. Check if any other ports you try to forward work - there are programs you can use to detect it. I personally just use open Utorrrent and use the check feature on that.

Also make sure you've followed the instructions and not forwarded the UDP or something when you weren't meant to

Yes, I have a static IP. I am running on a LinkSYS WRT150N with AT&T as the provider.

It might be a firewall issue, or your router is crappy.

post screens of your TCP/IP Properties and your port forwarding screen of your router information.
