View Full Version : New computer. 3DMark06 Results.

Some of you may know that I was planning to get a new computer for a while now. Well.
It came in about a week ago, and I just finished most of the final touches.
So here's a breakdown.

Motherboard: Asus P5W DH
CPU: Intel E6700 2.66GHz clocked at 3.19GHz
RAM: 2GB 800MHz Corsairs
Video Card: 512MB ATI Radeon X1950 XTX 650MHz
PSU: 550W Antec True Power II
Hardrives: 75GB WD Raptor 10000RPMs / 320GB WD 7200RPMs
Soundcard: Creative Labs Xtreme Music

I did the overclocking and 3dMark06 tests tonight; results as follows.

I'm fairly satisfied with the results. I think having that ****box Dell for so long made me go a little extreme with this one; but all things considered, it was worth the hole in my pocket.

If goin gIntel at least go core duo. Seriously.

And '05 is beast 3DMark for now.
The E6700 is part of the Core 2 Duo line.


Intel. ugh
I prefer AMD too, but Intel was the only way to go here. The E6700 destroys AMDs flagship; especially when you're overclocking.

Yeah that pc absoloutely stomps mine...

Edit: WTF??????? It says 2 peeps have posted after me, up to 9pm my time, when i posted this at 7pm my time..and the time is correct on the pc..How did i just jump the list two posts that i'd already read.....#$U(#%TJMLED

That's cause your PC prolly can't handle it.
