Format your computer quickly. (MS-DOS - format c: or right click on c: in my computer and choose format). Other than that, I cant help you

If you need help fast, don't use a message board. And if you think it's a virus, why not try a virus scanner? Some common sense would really help you out a lot.

Very few viruses require a reformat, and even then only if you're being lazy or are unable to obtain updated virus definitions (i.e. Internet is fucked).

I got a virus where it made my computer not be able to see my C: drive. My computer didn't have a backup drive, and I had an active virus scanner. The only way I could reformatt was to use my boot disk. Im sure there would have been another way, but it would have been very hard. Most likely.

maybe its not a virus..adware or spyware maybe..?
get ad aware or spybot. if that dont help than get virus scanner.
also disable things from starting up..start>run>msconfig>startup tab and uncheck things

Hey - I've gotten tons of viruses that have screwed with and attacked my Windows folders. I recommend either using an antivirus program, or even use an online one. Trendmicro or Panda Activescan. Lavasoft Ad-Aware may also solve the problem. Also "Spybot" is a powerful program that finds and destroys tons of crap that is wrong with your computer. If all else fails, re-format.

Please refrain from spamming test-acc. Since this is your first offense (that was documented at least), no punishment is necessary.
