This was a recent study we had undertook in school. Now I'd like to see your opinions on it.

Some of the many dangers of dihydrogen monoxide include:

The substance is a major component of acid rain;
Contributes to soil erosion;
Accelerates corrosion and breakdown of metals and electrical equipment;
Excessive ingestion may cause various unpleasant, though generally not life-threatening, effects;
Prolonged contact with its solid form results in severe tissue damage
May cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes
Inhalation, even in small quantities, may cause death
Its gaseous form may cause severe burns
It has been found in the tumors of terminal cancer patients
Withdrawal by those addicted to the substance causes certain death within 168 hours

Nevertheless, governments and corporations continue using it widely, heedless of its grave dangers.

Despite the fact that it's water and this "experiment" has been conducted a thousand times before, yes, it should be banned.

You remove the fun of everything.

But I still cannot bring myself to hate you, just dislike you.

di = 2, mono = 1. So dihydrogen monoxide is actually H20. :lol:

Llafnwod for one this is my little forum and I can decide on my own if threads should be locked or not. Please let me and my mods handle the threads, you should only need to come into this if the thread is in violation of a bwhack rule or TOS.

-Unlocked
