Cursive does not, in fact, suck.

Listen to some Norma Jean (older stuff), The Chariot, Curlupanddie, Fear Before the March of Flames, As I Lay Dying, Death Spares Not the Tiger, Haste the Day, or Zao.

Haste The Day

Really depends on what you're into. I would recommend:

LP
Muse
SOAD
Blink
Any techno
Plenty of other classical songs that are very good out there.

For specific songs to get - some of my all time favourties are:

Hide and Seek - Imogen Heap (hate the genre, hate the artist but the song is awesome)
Requiem for a dream remix - Clint Mansell
Escape - Craig Charles (An absolute must. Ask JL)
Crush - Paul Van Dyke
Mad World - Gary Jules
Time is Running out - Muse

And my absolute favourite song ever is probably one you couldn't get. It's the original wonderful life techno song released ages before other people decided to take it and **** with it - I think before anybody else sung it at all. Has to be one of the most moving/soothing songs ever. It's track 16 on an album called skitzmix 12. I'll email it to you if you want it.

I used to be all about metal and rock, but it gets very boring and very repetitive after a while.

I suggest you try listening to some good classical music, maybe some Beethoven or Mozart. They are two of my favorite, they made some very excellent compositions.
Very surprising to know that Beethoven did some of his greatest works while he was deaf.

Here's two of my favorite's.

Mozart- Symphony No.40 (http://iversonali3.myftp.org/Mozart_-_Greatest_Hits/Mozart-Symphony%20No.40.mp3)
Beethoven-Pastoral (http://iversonali3.myftp.org/Beethoven-The%20Best%20of%20Beethoven/07-beethoven-pastoral-atm.mp3)

Neither of these songs are copyrighted, they are available to the public domain. So it's not considered warez.

Don't revive dead threads. Just a warning. Most people get pissed and start flaming when you do this.
