I got a new PC and I can't find my SC case anywhere, but I have it installed on this comp. Is there any way for me to extract the CD key?

Yes there is. Somehow... >_>
I found a program, but I need v 1.07 or lower which I can't find a downgrader that goes that low. =(
Google, is your friend

Google has failed me which is why I came here. And yes, I can get to the Bnet screen.

If you can get to the log in screen you can potentially get to your CD Key because Bnet checks it to see if it's valid. That is when it checks it.
If you know how to use a debugger, here's what you do:
1.) Get to B.net log-in screen.
2.) Look on stack @ 12FD10.
3.) Go to the DWORD pointed to by the DWORD at 12FD10.
And there's your CD-key. Perhaps someone can make you a program with this information.

O_o wow. FREE CAKE!
I have no idea how the hell to go into debug or whatever, but I guess it's a step that if someone knows they can do it.
Sure, here we go. (See attachment.)

(Yes, this is my first "hack" ever. And I'm very proud.)
Such simplicity- Haven't used it but good work.
My avatar doesn't look like me anymore. My hair is longer.

Kewl, what language did you use?
Yeah, well simple tool, simple GUI. As long as it works. The thanks to BWHacks and Titan didn't fit, so you have to click the "Instructions" label in order to see them. Let's call it an easter egg.
As for language, I first tried making it in VBA (as I had Office installed), but I just wouldn't get ReadProcessMemory to work so I installed VS6 for this, so VB6. Shouldn't be a problem.

oh ya dont mind the part in his code where it sends ur cd key to him
jking.. but possible..
