    Default Serious Discussion Rules.

This board is for discussion in a serious manner. Take note to the words, serious, and discussion, because the rules fall in line with the definition for those two words perfectly. This board is the only board on Gamethreat that requires you to post in a manner that can always be considered on topic to the discussion at hand, and in a serious manner. Anything less, is unacceptable.

Some may consider this too strict, but you need to keep in mind that we try to appeal to all audiences here at Gamethreat; there is a board for near-unmoderated conversation, and one for casual, loosely moderated conversation, and then there's serious discussion. If this type of discussion isn't for you, then move along to the other boards. If you can't do that, then don't complain when you're punished.

    Rules:
    • Do not flame in this board; I can't stress this enough. Often times, topics here get heated because they touch on people's beliefs. Sometimes posts get colorful, that's fine; don't let the topic change from the topic, to the person you're discussing it with. It doesn't matter if you're insulting someone because they insulted you. We're not children, it's not about "who started it." Anyone involved will be punished.
    • Do not spam in this board. I can't stress that enough either. Posts containing pointless one-word acronyms or short phrases are considered spam because they do not contribute to the topic.
    • If your post does not contribute to the topic, as a general rules of thumb, don't post it. This can include posts that are made in a short "agree/disagree" manner, aswell.
    • Do not play the role of a moderateur imposter here. If someone breaks the rules, it's our job to clean it up; complaining about it in the thread only creates more off-topic spam, and spam is punishable.
    • Caps aren't allowed here. Sorry NSAC.
    • Do not double post.
    • This board is also in line with the standard forum rules and regulations, but to higher scrutiny.

A conclusion is a place you find yourself, when tired of thinking.
