Your Gamethreat account - Troubleshooting

If you have any problems with your Gamethreat account, please go through this checklist carefully. Note that it is under no circumstances necessary to register a second account.

1) Make sure your e-mail address is validated
Log into your account, go here and make sure that you have entered your correct e-mail address. Then go here, enter the same e-mail you registered with and click on Email Activation Codes. Now check your e-mail and click the activation link in the e-mail from Gamethreat.

If you did not get any mail, check your spam filter as it might get filtered.


2) I forgot my account name and/or password
Go here, try to enter all e-mail addresses that you have and click on Request Username / Password Now. Now check your e-mail for a mail from Gamethreat, and follow the instructions. Make sure to also check your spam filter.


3) I can post, but my posts don't appear
You might be on mod preview. A moderator has to approve your posts before they show. This is a temporary punishment for violation of the forum rules. For complaints or questions, PM the moderator who issued the punishment or create a thread in Website Related.


4) You get a "no permission" message when trying to post
Your posting is disabled. This is also a temporary punishment. For complaints or questions, you may send a PM to any moderator or administrator.


5) You get a "no permission" message on every forum page
You have been permanently banned from the forum for violation of the forum rules. Log out and browse the forum as an unregistered user. If you have any questions about your ban, use the Contact Us link.
