    need your opinion...

i once saw on a torrent site a windows xp kit/version ( i think it was tweaked or something) that could work on very old computers. when i say old i mean like 233mhz, 32 ram, etc.

If my memory doesn't fail me, the dude that uploaded the torrent said that almost every unnecesary programs were stripped from the windows build and it reduced the kit to a mere 150mb. he said that he left only the kernel and some other important **** and he also said that he tested it on a 200 mhz pc with 32 ram and it worked fine.

now i dunno if that is/was true, and i would like to hear your opinion on this.

if it is true and u can make win xp work on a lame pc, could you tell me what to do or post a link to an appropriate download.

Yeah, you could strip Windows easily... but you would corrupt so much of the reason why XP is XP that you'd bassicly have 98 with alot of Raw Sockets and MICE. I don't see any reason you'd even try to do this...

yea, but i would have "win 98" with NT kernel, and all NT based applications would work.
