I'm Christian, i think it is a little bit disrespective but i haven't said anything as anyone can think what they want and things can only bother you as long as you let them! I'm not letting it bother me, i can see others who might be a little bit more religion oriented, and this would bother them,

Why are you insulted by what ONE person says or does? If your faith in ____ is so strong, then why get all pissy when one person mocks it? If you feel that strongly about it, then maybe you should be writing to the Trey Parker and Matt Stone about their mockery of religion in South Park.

I don't hate Videl, some of her points and actions piss me off, as do those of many others, but for the most part I ignore it. Except in the AgentGOD thread, and in her siggy/avatar. As for South Park, I don't even care what they make fun of anymore, because they make fun of everything. They'd make fun of the greatest man on earth for being to great. Its one thing to not like or to make a valid argument about religions but to call the savior of one gay is just absurd. If I was to call Muhammad gay, in a cartoon and put it on TV, certain groups of Muslims would go insane and start rioting.
All I really want is to point out that she should be more respectful to a diverse community such as this website and on the internet.

I'm sure you all have your own beliefs. Well I've got a strong hatred towards Christianity which only one or two of you would understand why. You can complain about my ava/sig all you want, but it won't come down until I get board of it and change it to another insulting one. I think I'm going with Buddha or Asians next. This is my freedom of speech at work , and since I'm a moderator I actually have a bit of freedom of speech. So, in short... good game. Riot against me if you'd like. Do another D2V thing, it is all funny to me. especially if you do it over something as trivial as religion. How many of you attend church every sunday? How many of you confess your sins daily? If your devout, then that is nice. But I have reasons to dislike religion. You just have people yapping in your ear saying how Christ will save you. I find all religion to be a crutch for people to lean against because they can't handle it any other way. Hell wasn't it the catholics who used to sell people forgiveness? You could be forgiven if you paid the church, but we are good people. God needs nothing more than our love.

South Park made a mockery of "God". If you dont care that a show that is broadcast to millions of viewers makes fun of religion, I don't see how you should even be remotely offended by what one person on a forum does. :woop:

Because South Park makes fun of everything its not even worth paying attention to. Videl is a moderator and as such should set an example of maturity and mutual respect for the vast diversity of the internet's people. I know I'm starting to over-use this word, but it is very arrogant to mock other religions/cultures because it is different than your own. Thats one of the reasons why we are at war in the Middle East. I would also like to point out that I recieved an infraction from BloodyBlade for calling someone "RETARDED", so I hardly see it appropriate for a moderator to be able to insult other members in a similar fashion.

Shes not mocking anything. Just because her beleifs are contradictory to your own, doesnt make you any more right than she is. Maybe she would find it offensive if you put "I love Jesus" in your sig. You should really be more tolerant of other people's beliefs.

Oh, and this is the internet, it's not a decomacracy. If you don't like something, no one is forcing you to look at it.

stuff like this has happened before, and people were forced to change their avatars / sig. just because ur butt buddies with all the mods and admins doesnt mean you get special treatment. if its insulting get rid of it
